This project involved the demolition of a dilapidated cottage and the construction of a two storey residence. The challenge of the irregular shaped block provided for interesting roof detailing and interior spacing.
The extensive use of timber for the rear exterior spaces, including a freestanding cabana, created a warm and ambient external space.

This is an existing two storey Heritage Listed late Victorian shop
and residence located on a prominent corner. The building is substantially
intact externally but has suffered extensive damage to the interior through
fire and general dilapidation.
The alterations and additions to the site include the refurbishment of the existing
fire damaged building with new additions to the rear. The new configuration of the building
features a shop/office on the ground floor and two 2 bedroom apartments.
The rear additions have been designed so as not to dominate the existing building but
to compliment it by the use of scale and materials.

The client brief was to redesign and construct an infill project
comprising of a two storey three bedroom contemporary residence
with side access to the rear of the property and a garage at the
front. The brief provided for the use of honed sandstone cladding
to part of the front facade and extensive use of stone to the interior
floors and walls.

This project is an existing two storey residence.
Our brief was to design a two storey contemporary addition at
the rear of the property. The brief also provides for the
refurbishment of the existing fabric of the building.
The new additions will provide a new kitchen, dining and living
areas that flow to the rear open space and an upper level main
bedroom and en-suite.

This project is an existing two storey Victorian shop/office located between a
two storey residence and a shop/apartments. The building is substantially intact
externally but has suffered extensive damage to the upper interior through general neglect.
Our brief was to design an infill building to the front and two levels of residential
plus carparking structure at the rear. The brief also provides for the refurbishment of the existing fabric of the building.
The new configuration of the building will feature an office to the street frontage on
the ground floor and the first floor, two 2 bedroom apartments at the rear and a one
bedroom apartment above the office. All apartments have north facing orientation and cross ventilation.

This was a single storey red brick cottage, the clients wanted to improve the appearance of the existing cottage and provide a new level to take advantage of the fantastic water views, and to accomodate two more bedrooms a bathroom and a living space .

This was an existing 1672m2 warehouse + office structure with 24 car spaces. The clients wanted to expand their business and needed more warehouse space at the rear. The brief was to design and build an additional 612msq warehouse space in pre-cast concrete panels, steel roof framing, metal wall and roof cladding.

This project was to upgrade, open up and modernise the interior of the existing single storey brick Victorian cottage while retaining the existing street character and adding a two storey addition that provided 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a new double garage at the rear of the property.

This was an existing Federation house in need of work to bring it back to its former glory. A large extension was proposed at the rear of the property which was to include an open living, dining, and kitchen an extra bedroom/ study and a powder room.

This was an existing three storey terrace with a single storey structure at the rear that was demolished. The proposal was to provide a new living room at the rear facing the courtyard and powder room on the ground floor and a bedroom and en-suite to the first floor with a total area of 50m².
